The Heloise Waislitz International Fellowship in Philanthropy

The Asia-Pacific Centre for Philanthropy and Social Investment at Swinburne University in Melbourne, Australia, invites expressions of interest for the Heloise Waislitz Fellowship in Philanthropy for 2009.
The Fellowship, funded by The Pratt Foundation, meets the travel and living expenses for a scholar or practitioner to spend up to three months lecturing and researching in Australia. The Centre teaches, conducts research and consults in most aspects of philanthropy and social investment, especially grant-making.
The deadline for applications is Friday 13th February 2009.

Forum for funders on climate change and international development

The residential Forum for Funders on Climate Change and International Development will bring together philanthropic, NGO and government representatives to discuss how private funders can harness and leverage their philanthropic resources to address urgent challenges.
The Forum will consider the key policy and scientific drivers. Participants will debate what practical and specific strategies funders might develop to help in areas such as equity and social justice; migration and health; community development and resilience. The Forum will consider how private funders can build knowledge and networks to raise awareness and strengthen civil society capacity to deal with the impact of climate change on development.
Wilton Park is an academically independent executive agency of the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

Executive Program for Non-profit Leaders
