CAF announces three senior appointments

Three senior people have been appointed at the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF).

Peter Mitchell has been appointed CAF Bank CEO from 1st May, and Gustavo Romano takes up the position of Change Director on 21st April. Meanhile, John Alexander has joined CAF in the role of interim Customer Services Director.

Peter Mitchell is currently Director of Operations for Charity Financial Services at CAF. He has been at CAF for eight years, where he has undertaken roles including Head of Banking and Chief Operating Officer for CAF Bank. Prior to joining CAF, Peter spent over 20 years with the Barclays Group in roles covering personal, corporate and international banking activity.

Gustavo Romano joins from International Save the Children where he was Strategic Planning and Change Management Director. He also has extensive management consultant experience, having held a number of consultant positions within different organisations, including 3M and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

John Alexander is experienced in customer services. For the past six years he has been Customer Services Director at Agresso, the international software company; prior to that he spent several years in South Africa with Standard Bank Insurance, also as Customer Services Director.
