ACF is a unique membership association which supports foundations and grant-making trusts in the UK by offering a range of information and services for the trustees and staff of those organisations. This newly created post is an exciting opportunity to join ACF in a role with responsibility for delivering our broad-based events programme.

The Manager will also research and implement a range of special projects, to enable us to develop our services in line with the needs and aspirations of our member trusts and foundations, which operate in the context of a rapidly changing third sector and public service environment. The Manager will report to our Deputy Chief Executive and collaborate with her on the planning and implementation of ACF’s conferences, liaising with presenters and participants as appropriate.

Essential qualities include:

• Ability to work strategically but with attention to detail
• Excellent project management skills
• Ability to research and identify emerging needs
• Highly motivated, able to work independently or collaboratively
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
