A new donor advised fund service for individuals in the UK is to be launched by The Bulldog Trust.

The trust, which is a member of the Association of Charitable Foundations (ACF), aims to launch the bespoke ‘Bulldog Donor Funds’ in Spring 2009.

There will be no charge for the basic fund and advisory services. Bulldog will also work closely with charities and other networks, such as community foundations, to offer donors advice.

The trust’s website, which is currently under development, says, “Tax incentives in the UK have never been more favourable for giving to charity and especially in times of economic hardship, donors want to ensure they are giving in the most efficient way possible.”
