Philanthropy UK is the leading resource for free and impartial advice to aspiring philanthropists who want to give effectively. We develop and share current information and best practice on giving; provide accessible links to specialists; and aim to inspire more people to become philanthropic and so enjoy the extraordinary rewards this brings. We are a project of the Association of Charitable Foundations.

Vision

Philanthropy UK’s vision is of a society of engaged citizens which promotes thoughtful and effective giving, and where philanthropy is celebrated as a positive act of civic participation.

Mission

Philanthropy UK has three main aims:

To inspire new givers;
To inform and share knowledge and best practice with all those involved in giving; and
To connect givers to charities, networks and sources of advice and information. These aims are based on our belief that effective giving should be intelligent, innovative, proactive and, above all, enjoyable.
